Anette Schwitzke

Conflict, Peace and Security

I provide training and consultancy on human security to organizations operating in complex, high-risk environments. My work focuses on trauma-informed approaches, peace and security, and gender-based violence.

Many years of field experience in Afghanistan, Iraq, Ukraine, Israel, and several African countries have shaped my approach, combining strategic thinking with deep respect for local realities and the people who work in them. I collaborate with development agencies, ministries, security actors, civil society organizations, and businesses.

My work combines systemic organizational thinking with a strong focus on people, trust, and intercultural understanding. I often act as a bridge between local and international actors as well as between civilian and security communities.
